It is adjacent to the appellations "La Maltroie" and "Les Caillerets" and has a very rich terroir. The vines planted here are on average 50 years old and yields are always controlled.

Description
The Coffinet-Duvernay wines are vinified in a very traditional way, but with a "modern" concentration. The wines are wonderfully generous, fresh, lively and have great ageing potential. The domain's motto is to intervene as little as possible and to let the wine make itself, which is why malolactic fermentation is not prevented, and brings its fatness and opulence to this wine.
