This Italian red wine comes from the steep cliffs of Mount Etna in Sicily and is produced by a very promising young talent, Nicolo Grippaldi. Spinasanta is made from 100% Nerollo Mascalese.
On tasting, the wine opens with aromas of morello cherries, pine and ripe strawberries. Full-bodied with firm tannins. The smoky, spicy complexity on the palate is complemented by dark, ripe red fruit.

Domaine Nicolo Grippaldi
Nestled 651 metres above sea level in Gagliano Castelferrato, in the province of Enna, Domaine Nicolo Grippaldi is an example of biodynamic viticulture in Sicily. Founded in 2015, it grows Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola grapes on rich, varied land. Thanks to manual management and strict biodynamic practices, the estate's wines stand out for their exceptional quality, appearing on the menus of leading Michelin 3-star restaurants.
