Description
Jacquesson, founded in 1798, continues its tradition of excellence with Cuvée 748, an extra-brut champagne that reflects the unique character of the 2020 harvest. This refined blend combines Chardonnay from the Avize and Oiry terroirs, bringing freshness and minerality, with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from the villages of Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers and Champillon, conferring structure and complexity.
Cuvée 748 has a golden colour with slightly green tints and a fine, persistent effervescence. The aromatic bouquet opens with delicate notes of white flowers such as lime blossom and eucalyptus, enhanced by a subtle hint of menthol. On the palate, the attack is elegant and airy, revealing lightly woody flavours that bear witness to controlled ageing in old tuns. The long finish is marked by a refreshing minerality.
