Description

Domaine Jacquesson's Dizy Terres Rouges 2014 is a Champagne Blanc de Noirs made exclusively from Pinot Noir, from vines planted in 1993 on an east-facing lower slope in Dizy. The deep chalky reddish-brown soil, resting on chalky loam, gives this wine a unique personality.

The 2014 vintage, marked by a cool, wet summer followed by a fine end to the season, enabled the grapes to be harvested on 22 September, offering ripe, well-balanced grapes. Vinification and ageing took place in tuns on the lees, without filtering or fining, respecting the purity of the fruit and the terroir.

After prolonged ageing, the wine was disgorged in March 2023, with no dosage added (0 g/l), bringing out the finesse and minerality of this cuvée. Produced in just 2,504 bottles, this confidential cuvée will appeal to lovers of exceptional champagnes.
