Description
The Chambolle-Musigny from Domaine Lécheneaut is a blend of several iconic plots in the village, located between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, on east-facing slopes. These Pinot Noir vines, with an average age of over 60 years, have their roots in shallow soils rich in cracked Jurassic limestone, promoting deep and regular mineral nourishment. The limestone and gravel blocks provide optimal natural drainage, an essential condition for the fine expression of the terroir.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, allowing for rigorous selection. Careful vinification aims to preserve the purity of the fruit and the delicacy specific to the Chambolle-Musigny appellation. The wine is distinguished by its bright color and elegant nose combining violet, raspberry, cherry, and floral notes. With time, it evolves towards more complex aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices, prunes, and truffles.
On the palate, the texture is silky, almost airy, while retaining a solid structure and beautiful length.
