Description

Maison Jacquesson's 2014 Dizy Corne Bautray embodies the excellence of parcel-based Champagnes. Produced from Chardonnay vines planted in 1960 on a sloping hillside facing south-west, the clay soil dotted with millstone pebbles rests on Campanian chalk, giving the wine a distinctive minerality. The harvest, which took place on 2 October 2014, benefited from an exceptional end to the season after a cool, wet summer.

Vinification and ageing took place in tuns on the lees, without filtration, thus preserving the wine's aromatic complexity and structure. After prolonged ageing, disgorging took place in February 2024, with a very low dosage of 0.5 g/l, accentuating the purity and finesse of this cuvée. This Extra Brut Champagne stands out for its mineral tension, its notes of dried fruit and its length on the palate, offering a unique sensory experience for lovers of great Champagne wines.
