Description

Domaine Henri & Gilles Buisson's white Saint-Romain ‘La Perrière’ is an exceptional cuvée, made from 40-year-old vines facing due east at an altitude of between 303 and 340 metres. These vines thrive on rich limestone soil, an essential feature of the ‘La Perrière’ climate. This white wine is marked by a pronounced minerality, evoking the freshness of a torrent or undergrowth after rain.

From its youth, Saint-Romain ‘La Perrière’ seduces with its aromas of white flowers and damp stone. Its liveliness and elegance make it an ideal wine to enjoy in its early years, but it also improves with age. After five to seven years' ageing, it reveals more complex notes of grilled almonds and gunflint. This wine will evolve beautifully, perfect for those looking for finesse and mineral complexity.
