Meursault "Les Genévrières" 1er cru 2020

Description

This Meursault 1er cru Les Genévrières is one of the finest crus in the village. Located between the Poruzots, in the North, and the Perrières, in the South, it produces perhaps the most ample and elegant wine of the whole commune. It borrows its finesse from the Poruzots and from the Charmes, also neighboring, their amplitude, while it draws its mineral elegance from the Perrières. A very great wine, homogeneous in its terroir, which is the very image that any Meursault lover has of the wines of the commune. A very great wine.

The vines are cultivated in an organic and biodynamic way like all the vines of the estate. On tasting, the nose is complex. This white wine reveals rich and complex aromas of honey, dried fruits and candied citrus fruits. The palate is round, oily, buttery but balanced by a nice minerality.

For the 2017 vintage, this nugget was only produced in 2191 bottles and 117 magnums. We advise you to taste it in its first ten years.
