From the prestigious ‘Marissou’ climat in Rully, Domaine Saint-Jacques' Rully rouge 1er cru Marissou embodies the elegance of great Burgundy wines. This wine, made from Pinot Noir grapes, is distinguished by its deep, brilliant ruby colour. The nose is marked by intense aromas of ripe red fruit, such as blackcurrant and cherry, enhanced by floral nuances of violet and hints of spice and undergrowth. On the palate, it reveals a fat texture and well-balanced acidity, offering lovely freshness and remarkable length. Its delicate tannic structure gives it considerable ageing potential, evolving favourably over a period of 3 to 15 years.

Domaine Saint-Jacques

Domaine Saint-Jacques, located in Rully in Burgundy, is a 9.5 hectare family estate. Founded in 1955 by Christophe-Amédée Grandmougin, it has been run by his son, Christophe-Jean, since 1991. The estate produces top-quality Burgundy wines, including Rully 1er Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as Bourgogne Aligoté. The 13thᵉ century Romanesque cellars and the 18thᵉ century winery bear witness to its rich heritage.
